Pyramid Saimira appoints Col. Satish Shukla

Speaking on the appointment, Mr. P. S. Saminathan, Group Chairman, Pyramid Saimira, said, "Col. Satish will refocus on our various last mile access platform, given the huge content library and cross platform strength, the group company is building."

 

Col. Satish Shukla's key responsibilities with SAT will include managing DTH / HITS foray of the group and also creating multiple and emerging exploitation methodologies of content across various platforms, creating a robust organization structure, enabling structured process and strong methodologies, chalking out the road map for the business model to enter multiple activities like commencing various Indian regional channels, starting Chinese channels with focus on non-Chinese locations and Japanese content agglomeration - to name a few.

Prior to joining Pyramid Saimira, Col. Satish held various senior positions with hardcore cable TV operators like Incable, Hathway, Trinity and HFCL Infotel Ltd. He started his career with Indian Army and retired in the capacity of Colonel, after an illustrious 21 - year stint, with an exposure spanning across varied terrains and operational conditions. He was highly instrumental in introducing Electronic Data processing in Combat and in Training units
