20 found to be dengue reactive in Birbhum, boy dies

The boy from Tangsuli village near here who was admitted to the Suri Hospital with fever and other ailments died, Acting CMOH Arunlal Mondal said.

"Preliminarily he was found dengue reactive. As his condition was deteriorating he was being shifted to the Burdwan Medical College and Hospital, but he died on the way," Mondal said.

The district health administration has sent samples of others affected to Kolkata for more sophisticated tests, he said.
