Five die in fire

a house at Ngopok village under Mebo circle of East Siang district in Arunachal Pradesh last night, official sources said.

The dead were identified as Okiling Megu (12), Olik Yirang (16), Karneil Gamango (35), Biju Das (18) and Darbin Gurung (28).

Atting Yirang, the owner of the house was admitted to the hospital at Pasighat with multiple burnt injuries, the sources said.

The fire reduced the house to ashes, the sources said.

It's cause was yet to be ascertained.
