Man sentenced to life for murdering his children

The additional district and session judge Yogesh Narayan Singh passed the order sentencing one Sanjay Ram to life and imposed the fine on him after finding him guilty of the charges of committing the murder of his minor children Vandana Kumari (5) and Pradeep Kumar (1).

According to prosecution, the convict had hacked his children to death with a spade following a quarrel with his wife who had refused to give him money.

The woman had sustained injuries in the attack by her husband.

Ram's mother Baso Devi had lodged a case against her son charging him with the murder of her two grandchildren.
