Snake enters courtroom

The snake slithered into the court of additional district judge Prosenjit Biswas triggering a panic, police sources said.

The forest department was informed by court officials but they took some time in arriving.

A number of prisoners who were being produced, led by Ibrahim Sheikh, then caught and killed the snake, they said.
