Hi-Tech Group MD Tirupati Panigrahi and his two associates arrested in the scam on Decmeber 25 were remanded for interrogation.
"We will try to extract more information about the land scam in the state capital," said B K Sharma, Additional Director General, Crime Branch.
"The accused persons are being interrogated separately by senior officials of Crime Branch," sources said.
Panigrahi, who besides a real estate business, runs a private medical college, was arrested on the charge of cheating.
Terming his arrest as unjustified, Panigrahi said that he was a victim of a conspiracy. "We have been trapped in a conspiracy. We have worked for the people," he said.
