1.5 kg gold seized from private aircraft

Customs officials today seized 1.5 kg gold valuing worth Rs 42 lakh, hidden under the seat of a private aircraft here today.

Officials said airport workers, who found the bag containing the gold, informed them.

Further investigation is on.
