1 arrested for stabbing man to death

A person has been arrested for allegedly murdering a man by stabbing him over 10 times in outer Delhi's Sultanpuri area, police said today.

Yesterday, a body was found in Friends Enclave, that was later identified to be of Birju (30), a resident of Nangloi, DCP(Outer) Rishi Pal said.

During investigation, it was found that Birju allegedly got into a scuffle with Ved Prakash while drinking alcohol at 7 PM yesterday, the officer said.

"The accused fled from there. When they again met at 9 PM Ved stabbed Birju to death and escaped," Pal said.

Raids were conducted at various places and the accused was arrested, police said.
