1 injured in blast in Lahore

One person was injured today in a blast at a shopping complex in Lahore, the capital of Pakistan's Punjab province.

A private security guard was wounded in the blast in the Gulberg area, TV channels reported, adding that it could have been a cylinder blast.

The police personnel from nearby Liberty Police Station rushed to the blast site and sealed off the area.

Further investigations are on.
