At least one person was killed and seven others were missing after an iron mine collapsed in east China's Shandong province.
The accident occurred on Thursday at the Shengda Iron Mine in Tushan Township of Laizhou City.
One body was retrieved last night. The mine is owned by Shandong Gold Group Co Ltd, one of China's largest gold producers, state-run Xinhua reported.
Rescue operations are under way.
