A 25-year-old man was killed and eight others were injured when they came in contact with a mobile charger flowing high voltage current, police said today.
Rajkumar was killed last night when high voltage current, beyond the permissible limit, started flowing through a mobile charger in Bhatua village, they said.
Eight persons received minor injuries in the incident, police said.
District Magistrate Priti Shukla has ordered an inquiry into the matter to ascertain how current, beyond the permissible voltage limit, passed through the distribution line.
