One person was today killed and another seriously injured when a crude bomb exploded near Sangaon village under Sadar Kotwali police station area here, police said.
Two teenagers were carrying crude bombs in a bag attached to their motorcycle when one of the bombs exploded when they were negotiating a speed-breaker, Additional Superintendent of Police Arvind Misra said.
Gaurav Gupta (16) died on the spot while Monu Gupta (17) was seriously injured and rushed to Kanpur hospital, he said.
