1 killed, another injured in accident

A 27-year-old youth was killed while another person injured when the motorcycle on which they were travelling, was hit by a truck today in Amethi district, police said.

Dilip Yadav, a resident of Hardoiya village, was killed on the spot, while one Bhardwaj riding pillion, was seriously injured in the mishap which took place near Jamuari turn, Dipendra Singh, SHO Musafirkhana said.

The truck driver fled from the spot after the accident, the SHO said.
