A 40-year-old man was killed and four others injured by six armed robbers who broke into a house here and decamped with valuables worth lakhs of rupees, police said.
Nirdesh Kumar alias Neetu was bludgeoned to death for resisting the robbers who broke into his house at Pathar crossing here last night and fled with cash and valuables worth lakhs of rupees, they said.
Police said the robbers also attacked his wife, sister, brother and mother with iron rods and injured them.
Investigation into the case is underway, they said.
