1 killed in garbage incinerator blast in China

One person was killed and five others injured today when a garbage incinerator blew up in Shanghai.

The garbage incinerator on Suide Road, Jiading District, exploded, causing a workshop to collapse, burying several people.

One person died at the scene and another is missing, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

Five people have been rescued from the rubble and taken to hospital.
