1 killed, several injured as storm hits Mathura

At least one person was today killed and 18 others were seriously injured in a severe storm which lashed the district in the evening.

District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar said several houses collapsed and trees were uprooted due to the storm.

The deceased has been identified as Mulchand (25). He was killed when his house collapsed due to the storm, the DM said.

The injured persons have been admitted to various hospitals in the district, he said.
