10 BLOs suspended for anomalies in voters' lists

Ten Block Level Officers were suspended for alleged negligence in work, an official said today.

Sub Divisional Magistrate Bhairpal Singh said the BLOs were suspended after anomalies were found in the voters' lists in their respective areas.

He said that in the voters lists, they had shown more voters than the actual number.

A departmental enquiry has also been recommended against the suspended BLOs, the SDM added.
