Ten passengers of an autorickshaw were injured, two of them seriously, when it rammed into a stationary truck at Seraikela in Seraikela-Kharswan distirct this afternoon, police said.
The speeding autorickshaw hit against a stationary truck near Sini mode, injuring the ten occupants, two of them seriously, Superintendent of Police, Inderjeet Mahatha said.
The impact of the collision was so intense that one passenger was flown out in air and fell in the cargo bed of a truck nearby, he said adding that even the driver of the autorickshaw was had to be wriggled out from the mangled mass of steel.
All the injured were taken to a nearby hospital, where the doctors referred the two seriously injured passengers to Tata Main Hospital and M G M Hospital here, Mahatha added.
