10-year imprisonment for raping minor girl

A local court today sentenced a man to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for raping a 13-year-old girl.

Additional Sessions Judge Rajiv Kalra also slapped a fine of Rs five lakh on convict Pardeep Kumar for raping the minor in February.

On the basis of the complaint registered by the victim's mother, a case was lodged against Pardeep.

He had threatened the victim against disclosing the incident.
