10-year-old boy kills himself

Refused to watch television by his mother, a 10-year-old boy allegedly hanged himself to death at his house in Sardarpur Colony here, police said today.

The class 6 student wanted to watch TV, but his mother asked him to finish his homework first, they said.

The boy took the extreme step after the mother went outside for shopping, police said.
