10-year-old shot dead

A 10-year-old boy was shot dead

while five other family members were injured after they were attacked in their house at Gigla village here by some unidentified persons, police said.

The attackers entered the house in the wee hours and opened fire on the victims when they were sleeping, police said, adding that the deceased has been identified as Gulfam.

The injured have been admitted to the hospital where their condition is stated to be stable.

A probe into the matter has been launched but no arrest has so far been made in this connection, they said.
