A 10-year-old boy drowned in Kingwah canal here today when he, along with his five friends, had gone for swimming, police said.
Body of Lovdeep was fished out by the divers who were pressed into service after police received information about the incident, they said.
Another boy Sahil was also feared to have drowned.
While other four returned safe, they did not inform their parents about the incident, police said, adding that a passerby alerted the police.
Parents of the six children are migrant labourers from Uttar Pradesh, they said.
