11-member NSS team leaves for Dharmasala

A 11-member NSS team from Bharathiar University today left for Dharmasala, Himachal Pradesh, to participate in a 10-day adventure camp.

The team includes five men and five women NSS volunteers and a programme Officer, from various colleges affiliated to the University.

The National Service Scheme (NSS) under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, is organising the camp for NSS volunteers and programme Officers from October 10 to 19, a university release said today.

Dr.K.G.Senthilvasan, Registrar, Bharathiar University and Dr.T.Radhakrishnan, NSS Programme Co-ordinator i/c, sent off the volunteers, it said.
