An 11-year-old girl, who ran away from her house, was allegedly molested by two juveniles, police said today.
According to the police, the girl was found lying in a semi-conscious state near Abhimanyu Apartments in East Delhi's New Ashok Nagar area on Tuesday night.
"The girl was seen lying in a semi-conscious state by passersby who, in turn, informed the police. The girl has told us that she is a resident of Khoda Colony in Noida. She ran away from her house on Tuesday as her mother forced her to work at home," said a police official.
She has claimed that when she reached near New Ashok Nagar area, two juveniles tried to molest her. Efforts are on to identify the two youth. The girl has been sent back home, the official added.
