112 quintal of wheat meant for PDS seized, 1 held

112 quintal of wheat meant for public distribution system (PDS) under the Punjab government's Atta-Dal scheme was seized today and one person was held in connection with the incident.

A depot holder of Jakhepal village was arrested as he was allegedly trying to sell the wheat in open market, police said here, adding investigation is still on in the case.
