12 injured as speeding bus overturns

A speeding bus overturned at the Katha village on the Delhi-Saharanpur highway here today, leading to injuries to around 12 passengers, the police said.

The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital, where the condition of nearly half-a-dozen passengers is said to be critical, according to police officials.

The accident took place today, when the driver applied brakes to the fast moving bus and it overturned, they said.
