12 kg gold seized in Tamil Nadu

Gold weighing 12 kg valued at Rs 3.43 crore was seized and two persons were arrested near here today, DRI officials said.

Directorate of Intelligence (DRI) officials said the gold was seized from a car during a routine vehicle check at Oriyur diversion.

The gold was found concealed under the seat, they said, adding that the arrested persons have been taken to Madurai.
