12 kgs Ganja seized, two arrested

Two motorcyclists have been arrested for possessing 12 kgs of Ganja near Perinthalamanna in the district, police said today.

A police team led by Sub-Inspector Biju, during a vehicle check, seized the narcotics yesterday from Ajeesh (29) and Josh Dominic (37) from Pulanathur, Perinthalamanna police said.

The duo have charged under section 20(b) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, they said, adding, the value of the same is not yet determined.
