12 km-long cycle track to be constructed in Ghaziabad

A 12 km-long cycle track will be constructed near the Delhi-UP border on Delhi-Wazirabad road by Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA).

S C Dwivedi, Chief Engineer of GDA, said that the track will be constructed from Mohan Nagar here to Tulsi Niketan, which is near Delhi-UP border, at a cost of Rs eight crore.

The tender work has been completed and the work on the project will commence soon, Dwivedi said.

The UP government has a target of constructing a 100 km-long cycling track in Ghaziabad for which a budget of Rs 30 crores has been sanctioned, the Chief Engineer said.
