12 senior officers transferred in Punjab

The Punjab government today transferred with immediate effect 12 senior officers of the state, including six of the Indian Administrative Service.

The other six officers shifted are of the Punjab Civil Service (PCS) cadre, an official spokesperson said here.

Arshdeep Singh Thind, Deputy Commissioner of Moga, has been transferred to Faridkot in the same position. He will replace Ravi Bhagat.

Varun Roojam, Deputy Commissioner (Hoshiarpur), will be the new Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar in place of Shruti Singh.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Deputy Commissioner Tanu Kashyap goes as Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur. She is replaced by Anindita Mitra, who was Additional deputy Commissioner of Patiala.
 

Ravi Bhagat, Deputy Commissioner of Faridkot, has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar in place of Rahul Tiwari.

The services of Varinder Kumar Sharma, ADC Mansa, have been placed at the disposal of Department of Housing and Development for posting as Chief Administrator, Bathinda.

All other officers shifted are of the rank of PCS.
