12 sentenced to life imprisonment

Uttam Kumar Nandi, judge of the Fast track court here also slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 each for gunning down a 17-year-old farmer Abu Hossain Dafadar on February 12, 1994.

Dafadar was shot dead by the convicts during a clash over irrigation water, according to prosecution.
