Twelve sitting and former MLAs were today felicitated as the best MLAs for different years at a ceremony in the Assembly building here.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Speaker Kailash Meghwal felicitated BJP MLA Abhishek Matoria as the best MLA for the year 2018, Congress MLA Brijendra Ola for 2017, Congress whip Govind Singh Dotasara for 2016, BJP MLA Jogaram Patel for 2015, independent MLA Manik Chand Surana for 2014 and Deputy Speaker Rao Rajendra Singh for 2013, according to a release.
BJP MLA Suryakant Vyas was given the best MLA award for 2012, former CPI(M) MLA Amra Ram for 2011, Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria for 2010, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rajendra Rathore for 2009, former Congress MLA Bharat Singh for 2007 and former Assembly Speaker Shantilal Chalit for 2003-04 on the basis of their performance in the House.
