120 families rendered homeless by erosion

Three villages have been eroded under Mayong Revenue Circle during the last 24 hours rendering the families homeless since yesterday, the sources said here.

The eroded villages are Gagalmani, Lehpani, Borbari damaging some markets and school buildings.

The affected people initially took shelter in the highlands and efforts are on to provide shelter and relief to them, sources added.
