A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Modi Nagar area of Ghaziabad this afternoon.
The girl was alone in her house when the youth, Sachin, came and took her to a nearby vacant house where he allegedly raped her, according to the complaint filed by the girl's parents.
After reaching home, she told her parents about the incident and a police case was registered against the youth.
On an information that the youth was fleeing via Muradnagar area, a police team was sent there and he was arrested, police said.
Sachin is being interrogated and further investigation is on, police said, adding the medical report of the girl is awaited.
