15-kg dead sea horse seized

Police today seized 15 kgs of dead sea horse from a woman passenger of a private bus at Mayiladuthurai near here.

Sea horse was listed as endangered species under Schedule-1 of the Indian Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972.

The sea horse was hidden in a big. When the officials were examining the bags, the woman fled the scene.
