15 kg Ganja recovered, 3 arrested

Three persons were arrested with 15 kilograms of contraband in Sector 19 by Criminal Investigation agency (CIA), police said today.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the three accused, identified as Sanjay, Subey Singh and Raj when they came to deliver a consignment of Ganja to a person in sector 19.

They also seized 15 kgs of Ganja from their car.

They have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, police said.
