Around 150 euros of a Spanish man was allegedly stolen from his hotel room in Moti Dungari area here, police said today.
A Rodriguz, who came here from Spain on August 11, yesterday found his 150 euros (nearly Rs 12,000) stolen from the hotel room, they said.
They said the hotel owner has told them that the visitor probably left his room open while going out somewhere and someone might have picked up the cash during this period.
A case of theft has been registered against "unknown person" they said, adding that the hotel owner is also being interrogated.
