16 persons arrive from strife-torn Libya

As many as 16 persons hailing from Tamil Nadu returned from strife-torn Libya this morning, officials said.

They hailed from Madurai, Cuddalore, Tiruvannamalai, Mayiladuthurai and Tiruchirappalli and arrived here by a government carrier from Delhi, officials said.

They were later sent to their respective places with the state government bearing all expenses, they added.
