16 petrol bombs seized from vacant house

Sixteen petrol bombs were seized today from a vacant house belonging to a district functionary of a political party, police said.

The bombs, hidden in a wooden box, were seized from the house on a complaint from the Village Administrative Officer, who received a tip off, they said.

No arrests have been made in connection with the seizure and a search is on for the house owner, police said.
