17-year-old youth drowns

A 17-year-old youth today

drowned in a pond here while taking a bath.

Sachin, a resident of Khunda village, was taking a bath in historic Ram Tirath Mandir here when he drowned, police said.

DSP Gurmej Singh said water had to be drained out from the pond to retrieve the body.
