18 injured in road accident

At least 18 persons, including women and children, were injured when a mini-truck overturned near Ghoman town on Batala-Sri Hargobindpur road today, police said here.

They were going from Natt village to attend a condolence meeting at Bishan Kot village when the driver lost control of the vehicle, they said.

The injured were admitted to the local civil hospital.
