19 patients develop complication after getting injection

As many as 19 patients of a government hospital in Pathankot today developed complications after being administered injections.
The patients began shivering after they were injected antibiotics, the hospital authorities said.
However, all were fine after an hour, they added.

Senior Medical Officer at civil hospital Pathankot, Bhupinder Singh, said the medicine was brought from a private firm at Verka in Amritsar and the expiry date was September 2016.
However, he said the whole batch of the medicine has been sent to a government laboratory in Chandigarh for tests.
