Two brothers died here today after they drowned into the river Ganga in Gopiganj area of the district, police said.
Aman Singh, 19, and his younger brother Avadhu Singh along with two other boys went to bathe in the river and all slipped into deep waters in Ganga river at Jahagirabad ghat (wharf) this morning, they said.
The other two boys were rescued and the bodies of the brothers were later fished out with the help of locals, police said.
