2 critically injured in bear attack

Two persons were critically injured in a bear attack in Budgam district of Kashmir, police said today.

A wild bear ventured into Khag village, 30 kms from here, last evening and attacked Mohammad Ramzan and Abdul Rehman while they were returning home, a police spokesman said.

The two were critically injured and had to be hospitalised.

The bear fled into the nearby forest, the spokesman said.
