Two persons including a minor
were crushed to death near Hati village of Bihar's Darbhanga district today.
Biraul Sub-divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Suresh Kumar said the speeding MUV jeep ran over mother and daughter who were going to the market.
The deceased have been identified as Dana Devi (30) and Kavita Kumari (03), he said adding that both died on the spot.
The agitated villagers blocked the road and protested against the incident with the bodies, SDPO said adding that efforts were on to pacify the villagers to lift the blockade.
The driver of the jeep managed to gave a slip to the police, he said.
