2 dead in road accident in UP

Two youths who were riding a motorcycle today run over by a truck after they fell on the road following an accident with another bike in Badalpur area here, police said.

Rahul Kumar (19) and his friend, not identified yet, were returning from Sultanpur on a bike which was hit by another bike due to which they fell on the road and run over by a truck, they said.

Both of them died on the spot, police said, adding that a case has been registered in the matter.

The truck driver managed to flee from the spot after the incident, they said.
