2 drown

Two persons, including a teenaged

girl, drowned in separate incidents in Baramulla and Ganderbal districts of Kashmir Valley, police said today.

A 15-year-old girl, identified as Bisma Jan, drowned in river Jhelum at village Jahama in Baramulla district and her body was fished out last evening, a police spokesman said.

In another incident, Ali Mohammad Sheikh, a resident of Lar area, drowned in a stream at Yangoora in Ganderbal district while taking a bath yesterday, he said.
