2 drown while bathing in river

Two youths drowned while bathing in Kosi river at Fatehpur Bari village here, 15 km from here, police said today.

Narendra Singh Dongara (26) and Vinod Singh (24) drowned as they did not know swimming, they said.

The deceased were from Papnai Kothar village and had come to Fatehpur Bari village to attend a marriage ceremony.

Their bodies were fished out and handed over to family, police said.
