2 govt teachers suspended for posting objectionable comments

Two government school teachers were today suspended for posting objectionable comments against female colleagues on an internet messaging application, an education department officer said here.

Basic Education Officer M P Singh said that six female teachers had lodged a complaint against the two for posting objectionable content on messaging application WhatsApp.

Prima facie the allegations against them were found true and they have been suspended, he said, adding, inquiry into the matter has been handed over to education officer Virendra Pal.
