Two persons were arrested while allegedly taking money to get two students admitted in a reputed college of the city, police said today.
Following a complaint, anti-rowdy section of Kolkata Police arrested the two persons when they were allegedly taking Rs 15 lakh from the complainant.
The two had promised the complainant to get his two relatives admitted to the college in B.Com (Honours) course in exchange of the money, a senior Kolkata Police officer said.

During questioning of the two, the police came to know that an influential person of the alumni association of the college was involved in the admission racket.
"Some top officials of the college management could also be involved in the racket," the IPS officer said.
The two were remanded to police custody till July 5 by a city court today.
